Where is home?

Everyone needs a place to call home. But how do you decide where that is?

For people who have moved to Leicester from other parts of the world, it can be a difficult question to answer. Some felt that the place from which the originated felt more like home, while others, having made their home in Leicester, saw it as home today.

Interviewees were unanimous in their understanding of home as being primarily about people and much less about place. It's clear that the feelings of comfort and familiarity associated with home are often driven by the people we share it with, rather than the place itself.
